Climate Change and You

We ask you to create a piece of work – a painting, a poem, an essay, a digital drawing, a piece of music, a short story, a video, or any other medium you think is appropriate – that describes how climate change makes you feel, trying specifically to answer these two questions:

  1. Do you feel that climate change matters to you?

  2. How do you think climate change will impact you in your home neighbourhood?

We presented this question to middle school students in Toronto, Hamilton, and Kitchener, Ontario. We invite you to explore this website to find out why, and to see what the students submitted.

Climate Change and You is a community outreach program initiated by the Students of the Water Institute Graduate Section (SWIGS) at the University of Waterloo.
